The Director General (DG) of the Immigration and Citizenship Agency, Ahmed Said Mohamed, has announced the successful completion of a specialized training program for 15 border officials from various border-related institutions that work together at the border
The comprehensive training program equipped the officials with enhanced knowledge and skills to combat transnational and cross-border threats, including the movement of illicit goods and terrorism.
The training covered a range of topics, such as:
1- Identifying and intercepting illicit goods and contraband 2- Recognizing and responding to potential terrorist activities 3- Conducting risk assessments and intelligence gathering 4- Implementing coordinated border management protocols 5- Utilizing advanced technologies and data analytics
Equipping the border officials with the latest knowledge and skills, the agency aims to better protect citizens, the economy, and national interests. This training program demonstrates the agency’s commitment to strengthening border security and maintaining the integrity of the country’s borders
